OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ Two Oklahomans who purchased a Powerball ticket at a McAlester convenience store won $1-million after selecting the Power Play option.

Officials say Paula Laird and Alton Cothran claimed their prize at the Oklahoma Lottery Commission office Thursday morning.

Five numbers on the ticket matched the winning numbers in the drawing, resulting in a $200,000 prize. By adding the Power Play, which had a multiplier of five, the ticket's worth grew to $1-million.

The winning numbers were 3-7-27-39-40 with a Powerball of 8. There was no jackpot winner.

Laird's and Cothran's ticket was purchased at Handy Shop on Main Street in McAlester.
