A motorcyclist is dead Monday morning after an accident in northeast Tulsa. Tulsa Police say the motorcyclist was stopped to make a left turn on 46th Street North when the driver of a yellow Ford Mustang did not see the motorcycle and hit the motorcyclist from behind. The motorcyclist was thrown into oncoming traffic and was hit by another vehicle. The motorcyclist died at the scene.
The victim's name has not yet been released. No one else was hurt.
The accident shut down 46th Street North from 129th East Avenue to 145th East Avenue while Tulsa Police investigated the accident.
