Downed Power Lines Closing Roads

Ice on roadways continues to snarl traffic across much of northeastern Oklahoma. Many bridges and overpasses remain slick and hazardous. Inside the city of Tulsa, road conditions are improving. Outside the Tulsa area, roads and highways are a mess because of the ice.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol recommends if you are going to drive to use extreme caution. Take your time, give yourself plenty of space between you and the other vehicles around you.
