Sooners Gain Ground In AP Top 25

NORMAN, Okla. (AP) The Oklahoma Sooners climbed 1 spot to #16 in the Associated Press college football poll released today.

Despite losses by several teams ahead of OU, the Sooners managed to move up just 1 spot.

The Sooners also moved up to #16 in the USA Today coaches poll.

The Sooners defeated Texas Tech Saturday 34-24 in Norman to improve to 8-2 on the season.

Ohio State and Michigan remain 1 and 2 atop the AP poll, followed by Florida, Southern Cal and Arkansas. Notre Dame is ranked 6th, followed by Rutgers, West Virginia, LSU and Louisville.
